Tweetdeck and Twitter
We set up course accounts in both Twitter and Tweetdeck. Our Twitter account will be used for making announcements (along with Edmodo). Our Tweetdeck account will be used for monitoring student tweets to the #ELACADE hashtag. (The course is ELA and CADE is a combination of our last initials.)

Edmodo
We set up a teacher's Edmodo account. This account will be used for making announcements and assignments to our Short Story Writing Group. It will also be used for monitoring assignment submissions and may occasionally have a quiz.

Wordpress
Student will complete their weekly writing assignments via Wordpress blogs that they are required to set up. After they have set up the blog, they are asked to let us know their blog URL. At that point, we will post that on our private page and embed the blog for quick checks.

Diigo
We are requiring students to share writing resources and stories via Diigo. We have set up a Diigo group to which they can post. We will monitor student bookmarks by screenshots they will take of their research posted to Edmodo.
Scribd
Students will create Scribd accounts to publish the final draft of their short stories. These will be accessible via a link, but can also be embedded here on our Weebly site for all to view and enjoy.
Other
As the course is developed, other methods of monitoring will take place. One is for the Visualization learning activity, in which students will post links to their Pinterest boards for the class to view. Everything will be connected to Edmodo as the main hub or to this Weebly site for easier viewing.
